STUDENTS GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL
As per the rules and regulations addressed by the F-No.14-4/2012/ (CPP-II) of the UGC, for students in an institution, the “Grievance Redressal Committee” of Shri Mulikadevi Mahavidyalaya, Nighoj has been constituted with the following Staff to enquire the nature and extent of grievance.

Students’ Grievances include the following
-
- To create awareness of the availability of members for students and faculties to report grievances.;
- Indiscretion in the admission process adopted by the institute;
- Refusing admission in accordance with the declared admission policy of the institute;
- Denial of quality education as promised at the time of admission or required to be provided
- Delay in the conduct of examinations or declaration of results beyond that specified in the academic calendar;
- Non-transparent or unfair evaluation practices;
- Nonpayment or delay in payment of scholarships to the eligible student that such institution is committed, under the conditions imposed by University Grants Commission, or by any other authority;
- The demand of money in excess of that specified in the declared admission policy or approved by the competent authority to be charged by such institution; 6. Breach of the policy for reservation in admission as may be applicable
- Harassment and unfair treatment of students including sexual harassment
- Refund of fees on withdrawal of admissions as per University instructions from time to time.
Students’ Grievance Procedure:
The students are free to share their grievances with their teachers of the respective department. The students are writing their grievances by hand on the page which is required to be submitted in the grievance box. Then Student’s Grievance Cell’ open the box once a month and analyses the nature and pattern of the grievances in a strictly confidential manner. Final report based on grievance received and resolved will be submitted to the Principal and further course of action will be decided and the same shall be intimated to the students.
Declaration:
This is to certify that the grievances redressal cell is functional in the college and there were no serious grievances reported to date. The grievances regarding student facilities were redressed and resolved from time to time.
